A huge shout out to fellow OSW esteem member Kuroi, if he hadn't posted those pics from "The Losers" comic a while ago, I would never appreciate it. After doing some googling & eventually picked up one of the graphic novels, I immediately hooked on it. So naturally a team or any one of the members in 1/6 is in order.
My intention was to do only Coug, but once started, might just did the entire team. The team is somewhat loosely based on the comic, not really following every aspect of accuracy, sort of an image mode of them. Most of the chaps are relatively quick & easy bashes except Coug and Frank Clay. Coug's cowboy hat was modded from those flocked vacu-form hats found in Michaels, I repainted it and drilled out the center row of ventilation ports with pinvise, upper & lower rows were done by Gundam Marker. The DiD head was rerooted with saran hair and repainted, then mounted on the new HT body. Clay's previous incarnation was Dragon' Nam dude Jake. The repainted head's molded hair was shaved off and applied with fur pieces; then mounted onto an Art S. Buck nude as Clay is the tallest among the gang. The only one I left out is Rogue cos' the HS in mind is needed for a future bash, otherwise it'll be a complete team.
THE LOSERS
The Losers was a comic published by the Vertigo imprint of , written by Andy Diggle and drawn by Jock. Based on an obscure old DC Comic following a team of soldiers inWWII, this new series brings the concept up to date with a present day setting and a team of special forces soldiers who declare war on the CIA after their Agency handler tries to assassinate them.
The Losers were reimagined in 2004, set against events surrounding and including the War on Terror. Originally a Special Forces team seconded to the C.I.A. in the 90s, the Losers were betrayed by their handler, Max, and left for dead following the conclusion of their operation. Eager for revenge and the opportunity to remove their names from a secret CIA death list, the Losers regroup and conduct covert operations against the CIA and its interests, uncovering startling operations spearheaded by the enigmatic Max, whose influence within the CIA and US Government is unparalleled.

Andy was kind enough to drop me a PM, that in turn has made my day....big time.

FRANK CLAY, ex-co of the "Losers" SF unit. His CIA handlers tried to kill him, and that pissed him off. He wants to punish them for what he sees as their wrongdoing - although there's an extent to which that's just an excuse for good old fashioned payback. |
COUGAR is the sniper, a real dark horse. He witnessed something during the backstory that affected him deeply, and he has rarely, if ever, spoken since. He has ghosts he needs to lay to rest. |
AISHA, a beautiful Afghan warrior who grew up fighting the Russian and became a CIA 'asset'. She's a real tough cookie, not someone you'd want to mess with. She has her own motives and hidden agendas for joining the team. |

Jensen is the systems guy, a hacker who joined the unit during operations against high-tech drug traffickers in South America. For him it's all about the thrill of the hunt - he's not the kind of guy who plans ahead. Youngest and least jaded among the Losers. |

POOCH is the transportation guy, an expert pilot and driver. He's a very laid-back guy, slow to anger, who always tries to see the wider picture. He's also a devoted family man, or used to be. |
