"I am the loyal servant of Sith!" : Niveus force puppet - Darth Ferus
Darth Ferus, once a deranged Zabrak mix-breed Sith lord approx. 800 years before the time of Darth Niveus. Little was known about his history or who was his Sith Master, but ancient holocrons mentioned
his ferocity & speed in lightsaber duel. The extent of his participation in Sictis Wars (subset of the New Sith Wars from 1,250 BBY to 1,230 BBY) was unclear, all the evidence suggested that he was killed in one of
the ground battle by a Jedi. However, his genome along with several other perished sithlords during the
war was preserved in a vault on Korriban. Under Sidious' instructions, Niveus removed the genome samples, and contracted out to Kaminoan scientist Ko Sai* for the samples to be cultivated into fully grown humanoids. Most of the samples were too badly degraded for cloning purposes. Only samples of Ferus & several others were suitable for salvaged. Eyeing Ferus' melee fighting skill, Niveus made an adjustment request to Ko Sai during the initial cultivating process, making Ferus completely under the control of her force. Essentially became a force puppet. However, she could only control one being at any time.
The remaining samples were fully grown into dark lords, and assigned to future separatist agenda.

* Ko Sai, chief Scientist behind the creation of the future Grand Army of the Republic in fact has been secretly conducting off-world contract works which were strictly prohibited by the Kaminoan ruling council. A year and a half into the war, she defected to the Separatists and soon later, clone commandos and ARC troopers were deployed to find the scientist before she could reveal any cloning information to the Confederacy. Her fate was vague but around 40 ABY, Taun We, administrative aide to the Prime Minister of Kamino, Lama Su told Boba Fett that someone killed Sai, though she only returned to Kamino in pieces, which lead Boba to believe that her death was an act of revenge.
