 Darth Niveus, formerly Vendexa Jedi Master Jusain El-Berkut, one of the lesser known 7th member of Lost 20* Jedi; born over 450 years BBY* in a relatively peaceful period of time. No major crisis such as the Sith Wars thousands of years ago, simply as usual a few limited engagements here & there around the galaxy. A life long practitioner of mysticism. Jusain's view towards the Force was never completely fall in line with the Order's doctrines. The Order was never comfortable, but for the most part tolerated her practice because of her diligent service. Events took a darker turn when her practice led her dangerously close to the dark side, including ancient Star Forge related holocrons from the Battle of Rakata Prime dating back 3500 years in the past. Her conflict with the Council became widening everyday, especially with the Council's hardline members. Until to the point that even the most open minded members began to question her quest for their so called "unorthodox" knowledge. She came to the conclusion that the Order was no longer the place to exploring the limitless realms of Force. Jusain relinquished her commission before the Order could expel her, and headed towards the region known as Cloak of the Sith in Outer Rim; the place where she hoped what couldn't find in known galaxy would be found there. Jusain emerged after twelve years of appearance. The call from Dark Side never left her all these years, in fact it got stronger everyday. She no longer could effectively keep it in check; eventually surrendered herself to the darkness during the disappearance, and took on the name of Darth Niveus for her snowy white appearence. After the emergence, Niveus and her devoted followers occupied the deserted temples on ancient Sith homeworld of Korriban to continue the exploitation into the dark side. Republic got words of this emerging Sith crisis, a small task force of Jedi headed by Nievus' then Jedi Master Tauwiin Roond were sent in to preempt their attempt from spinning it into another out of control crisis. The battle lasted for ten straight days with heavy causalities on both sides. At the end, she was struck by Tauwiin In the lightsaber duel, and dove ten kilometers straight down into a liquid silicon abyss. Severely wounded but not killed, Niveus's dark force essence not only protected her from being crushed on impact but began to repair the wounds. Body metabolism gradually slowed down until she entered a 400 years hibernation within the liquid silicon entombment. It was not until centuries later under Darth Sidious' order, distant followers of her dark teachings discovered the site from
ancient manuscripts and awoke her from in the hope of rallying forces of the Dark against the Republic.

Her fate was vague but around 40 ABY, Taun We, administrative aide to the Prime Minister of Kamino, Lama Su told Boba Fett that someone killed Sai, though she only returned to Kamino in pieces, which lead Boba to believe that her death was an act of revenge. |
