We thought we can retrieve the package when the transport crashed on the south-western side of the Tien Shan mountain range. A retrieval team was sent in to recover the crash-proof containers. We thought we had it, the crash was just another unfortunate mishap. Retrival team was never heard from again. That's when event became a lot more intriguing. Why would the plane crash just shortly after took off from our research facility in central Asia?
Why the retrieval team when missing too? It is too much of a coincidence.Containers' transponders were still transmitting weak signals, that means the packages have survived the impact. A backup team went in to follow up, but what they have found worried us a lot. All the containers survived the impact all right, but one of them was empty, the one that contained the T-Cell virus inducers and detonators. Worse enough, the crash was no accident.
Debris of what could have been pieces from a SA-18 Igla MANPADS,
or shoulder-fired missile was found lodged in one section of the fuselage, the plane was clearly being blown out of the sky. It has countermeasures to deter incoming missiles, containers' access codes are only possessed by high level Umbrella officials responsible for the virus research and the recovery teams. Only someone with extensive knowledge can overwrite them; or most importantly, individuals with extensive background in Umbrella's security procedures. The most unsettling scene was besides crew's charred bodies, four out of five first retrieval team members' bodies were also found near the crash site. All suffered from gunshot wounds. The lone remaining member, team leader Angelo Cézanne was nowhere to be seen. Corporate management immediately suspected it was an inside job. Either Cézanne was kidnapped by the culprits or he is the culprit behind all this.

Our internal affairs arm has uncovered some startling information on Cézanne. Apparently he has several slave-accounts in at least 6 different banks across the globe. He was on someone's payroll all along right under our noses. Furthermore, we have credible leads from our contacts in Beijing and Hong Kong SAR that Cézanne has resurfaced in recent weeks. It's possible that his intention was to sell the virus & detonators to foreign buyers. Latest intel feed from field agents indicated that he'll transport the contents to foreign buyers awaiting in Macau, China via triad middlemen's smuggler speedboat under the cover of night. A team from the regional branch has been put on standby mode to intercept the cargo and capture Cézanne if possible. Interpol has also taken active interest with Cézanne's activities in recent months, the female chief inspector responsible for the case has following the leads to Hong Kong as well. We have to quickly wrapped up this mess before Interpol gets their hands on it and blown it wide open to the public.
